Back to Blogging?

Hi Sweeties!

It's been quite some time since my last post but I'm really not in a mood for blogging. But in the last weeks so many awesome things happened that I really feel the need to share everything with you!

After I've been to Germany and met all of the supercute Gyaru there I really felt like I need to join a Circle, but as I live in Austria and we didn't have one there was no chance. So I got my lazy ass up and founded the first Austrian Gyaru Unit! Our name is Melody Pop or Mero Pop and we consist of 24 Gals from Austria. Some of us are just beginners but as Gyaru is about friendship and fun (and of course fashion) we don't care if everybody's a pro. We wan't to help each other develop our styles and get better together. We had our first meet last month and it was so awesome!
We had drinks, took some pictures and talked about where we want to go with the Unit. If you are a Gyaru from Austria (even if you're currently not living in Austria) you are welcome to join us! Just message us on Facebook or leave a comment below!

Next great news is: *drumroll* we got a valentine this week! First off I was totally shocked about how many valentines there were! This is simply amazing :D After 6 posts full of lovely pictures I gave up reading but then in the middle of the night Chichii (the sweet gal on the right) texted me that we got a valentine! I'm so thankful! We were only yesterday talking about how we would react if we got a secret and then only hours after that we got that cute valentine.
From left to right: Petra, Me, Chichii

Last update is about one of my hobbies I haven't really posted about before: Cosplay. Yes I do love cosplay. I'm not really into cosplaying manga characters (though I'm really thinking about doing one of the girls from attack on titan), but I do really love cosplaying fantasy, game and comic characters. I already finished my swimsuit! Lady Loki cosplay and wore it at Made in Japan. Right now me and my sister are currently working on a matching Lady Thor outfit, as well as Iltani and Amunet from Assassins Creed 2 and last but not least I'm working on the dress Daenerys wears in Quarth. All of these should be finished by the 9th of August when Aninite starts. I haven't done anything since 2009 and I was really overwhelmed by how everyone reacted to my outfit at Made in Japan. I did the design all by myself, of course it's inspired by her original Outfit. The head part is as close to the original as possible and with the rest I just went for what I thought might be a bikini that a goddess might want to wear. So here are finally some pictures <3 as="" be="" get="" i="" ll="" more="" p="" posting="" rest="" soon="" the="">

Oh and by the way that's my sister on the right ;D

That's it so far! We'll be having another J-Fashion Lovers Austria Meet up on 21st of July so there will be some more posts coming up! Until then have a great summer!

Japantag Düsseldorf 2013

Hi sweeties!

I'm not sure if I told you before but I went to Düsseldorf last weekend to attend the annual Japantag. I was really excited as it was the first trip I've organized in years but everything went well and we arrived safely on friday. Our hotel was right in the main trainstation and not quite what we had expected but it was fine and we haven't been spending too much time there anyways :D

After we got our luggage to our rooms we went on a little exploring trip and found the utmost shocking thing I've ever seen. It was a vending machine for syringes. I haven't been aware that drugs are such a big topic in germany.
We've been walking around looking for a nice restaurant for about one or two hours and finally decided on a korean one (which was to be honest maybe the best decision we could have made). I had Dolsot Bibimbap and it was absolutely delicious <3 nbsp="" p="">

Afterwards we just had some drinks at the hotelbar and chatted a bit.
Oh I didn't mention who joined me on the trip! It was Shu (a very good friend of mine) and his co-worker Dragan (got to know him only on friday). We had so much fun all through the weekend!

On saturday we (well to be honest they) got up rather late and had a second breakfast at Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. I'm so in love with those donuts, even though I might have gained a pound or two thanks to them :D We went straight to the festival area and had a look around first to see where everything is and then we just enjoyed our day. We met loads of great people, had frozen beer, watched some BBoys at the rhein shore and in the evening we met up with the german gyarus!

I was really excited to meet them all finally. At first I didn't really know what to say because I'm a bit shy when it comes to talking to groups of unknown people but in the end we had so much fun <3 :d="" a="" already="" and="" awesome="" bit="" brought="" burger="" by="" came="" course="" drinks="" el="" especially="" even="" everyone="" fantastic="" foood="" for="" gorgeous="" gyaru-o="" had="" her="" how="" husband.="" i="" join="" just="" kitai="" like="" looked="" mad="" many="" miss="" mona="" of="" p="" paso="" perfect.="" she="" so="" sui="" surprised="" there="" to="" together="" us="" was="" we="" went="" were.="" which="">

Shortly before the big firework started at eleven pm we had to part and I was kinda sad at first but I know that I will meet them again at least next year in Düsseldorf! We missed most of the firework but the finale was just amazing. I don't think I've ever seen anything that beautiful *w*

On sunday we checked out of the hotel around lunchtime and went to the other side of the rhein where we visited the EKO-house and the shin-buddhist temple. It was overwhelming. It felt so new and yet so much like home <3 again.="" definitely="" go="" i="" ll="" nbsp="" p="" there="">

Afterwards we had a little walk in the nordpark and visited the japanese garden there and finally mad e our way back to the historical citycenter where we found the utmost awesome burger restaurant I've ever been to! It's called Space Burger and everything in there is just freaky. Starting at the interieur and ending at the burgers. I had an "el morte del torro" which basically consists of a fresh toasted bun, a superfresh burger, avocado, guacamole, salsa, cheese, jalapenos and those mexican chips nobody actually knows what they're called like. It was sensational! The soft and the crunchy, the sweet and sour, the mild and hot combined! I loved it!

Our flight home was quite quiet as we were really tired after two days of constantly running around Düsseldorf. My best friend Chris picked us up at the airport and the two of us had a drink at a mc cafe. All over it was one of the best weekends I had so far and I really can't wait for next year <3 nbsp="" p="">
Thanks to everyone who made this happen! I love you all <3 p="">

News News News

Hi sweeties
I know I've been inactive for more than two months already but I had so much going on and no time and inspiration for blogging. I've been working out regularly and I'm really getting in shape. I've been trying to rescue my hair and work on my make up skills as well as on some of my cosplays.

So before I'll show you some recent pics there's some things I want to announce!
First and most important thing is the upcoming J-Fashion Lovers Austria Meet in Vienna! It's already the third Meet since the Group was founded last year and the community is ever growing. There are Lolitas, Gals, Pastelgoths as well as Gyaruos, some that dress Shironuri, Mori Kei, Dolly Kei, Cult Party Kei or just simple Streetstyle. Everyone is welcome to join in on the 27th of April! We will meet at 13 o'clock in front of the MQ in Vienna. Dressing in J-Fashion is not a must anyone who's interested is welcome!!

Next up is something I've been thinking about for almost one year: The founding of an austrian Gyaru-sa!
As Gyaru is getting more and more popular in my country I thought it's time to finally form a circle. I've been talking to a few girls so far and I guess at the upcoming meet we will have the cance to kind of form a base for our circle. I'm really excited about this and I hope everything will turn out good and we will be able to spread the word about gyaru!

So now on to the most recent pics! Around easter we had a J-Fashion Lovers Austria Meet up in Linz and about two weeks later I attended a Game of Thrones Movie Night in Linz where my sister and me dressed as Alayne Stone and a modern Daenerys (just couldn't find a matching fabric for my dress so far).

copyright for the last pic goes to Markus Prinz

I hope you're all fine and I'll try to post pics of the upcoming meet next week <3 nbsp="" p="">

Liebster Award and "diet" progress

Hi sweeties <3 p="">
So I've been absent for a while again. I had a kinda stressful time at work so I didn't find any motivation to blog at all, but when I wanted to check my progress with the  summerbody routine I saw that I was nominated for the Liebster Award two times! This is the first time I've ever been nominated so I was kinda excited when I read the comments! Thank so much! Now before I go on and fulfill my duty I want to give a quick update on how I'm doing with my routine. By now I'm kinda back to eating normal again xD I do eat smaller portions though and try to leave out as many carbs as I can but since I'm on holiday this week I get to cook everyday and I just love my food hahaha (We had baked trout with vegetables in white wine sauce for lunch and Salmon with spinach, tomatos and feta in puff pastry for dinner yesterday). I do a bit more workout than I used to and got a dumbbell on monday so I can strengthen my arms further. Today I'll be going swimming with my sister additionally to my usual workout so I guess it's quite okay that I eat more. Finally a quick update on my measurements! Bust: 83 cm Waist: 69 cm Belly(measured right across the bellybutton): 74 cm (this really shocked me! I don't feel like it's that much) Hips: 92,5 cm Thigh(measured at the widest point): 51 cm (yay! that's already 7 cm less) Heigth: 171.5 Weight: 57,5kg So yeah that's where I'm currently standing. I still hope to improve this a bit! My weight didn't change much but that's exactly what I've been expecting and hoping for! That means I built up some muscles and lost fat so I'm really happy about that. So I've been absent for a while again. my summerbody routine

Hey sweeties <3

Some time ago I told you I wanted to loose some fat for the upcoming summer (yes I know that there's snow outside but if I don't start now I'll just be lazy until it's too late) so todays post will be about what I do at the moment!

I'll start with what I'm starting with xD So here are all my basic measurements and my weigth (Oh god I really hope I'll improve them >.<)
Bust: 83 cm
Waist: 72cm
Belly(measured right across the bellybutton): 84cm
Hips: 95cm
Thigh(measured at the widest point): 58cm (I really hate my thighs D:)
Heigth: 171.5cm
Weight: 58kg

So what do I do to loose weight and gain muscles at the same time? I cut down my intake considering carbs and calories in general. I do still eat a mars or snickers from time to time, but I rarely eat carbs at night and I'm eating like ten times more vegetables and fruit now. I try to cut down on red meat as well and tend to eat more fish.
When I'm not working and I don't have to get up at 5am (I'm rarely having breakfast at 5 am I rather take a package of breakfast cookies with me and eat them at work) I either have a bowl of cereals or some bread with spreads or sausages. I also like to eat some fruit as a morning snack.
For lunch I usually go with what my family eats for dinner xD I'm the one that is cooking the dinners most of the time so I prepare them (as far as this is possible) for lunch already and just warm them up in the evening. So for Lunch i have stuff like Schnitzel, potatoes and fresh vegetables or pasta with homemade sauces but also bowls of salad with cheese and light dressings.
For dinner I just leave out the carbs (well most of the time :DD I'm really addictet to dumplings) SO I'd just eat the meat/fish and vegetables.
As I'm usually staying up quite late I tend to have a small snack after dinner as well. Usually I go with fruits or a yoghurt.

On to the workout! So my dad got a supeduper awesome ergometer a few weeks ago. I love it because it doesn't feature that typical extrabroad seat but has a racingseat and in general looks more like a racing bike than a classic ergometer. So as often as I can (I try to do it daily but sometimes I'm just too tired and exhausted to do anything) I sit on it and spin for about half an hour. The intensity depends on how tired I already am ;)
Next thing I do is Situps. They have always been one of my favourite exercises. I do them with my legs up on the couch and I do between 80 and 140 reps a day.
I also really like squats! I didn't do them for years but they really help to shape your thighs and buttocks so I started to do them regularly and I can definitely see an effect! I do about 60 reps a day.
Next up is the eight count body builder! This is an exercise I found on a homepage about marine style workouts (click me!) In the beginning these were kinda hard but I think they are fun to do and you can easily feel the change in your body. I do between ten and twenty of these.
If I'm not too exhausted after the eight count body builder I do some regular push ups too.
And now some more random exercises I like to do: Side straddle hops (Jumping Jacks), flutterkicks and the mountainclimber. (You'll find descriptions of all these on the marine style fitness page!

So that's what I'll do for at least the next two months to loose my bit of fat! If you want to join me feel free to contact me either on Facebook or just leave a comment here! If you have any questions or recommendations for me again you can contact me on FB or just leave a comment <3

I hope you're all having a great time!
Love, M.

Make up favourites winter 2012/13

Hi sweeties <3

So I've been looking for an ispiration for a few days. Blogging is getting harder as time goes by if you can't find any inspiration. I asked my best friend what she would want to read and she suggested that I should do a list of my favourite products. I loved the idea so this is what today's post will be about!

But before we're getting started I wanted to show what I've been working on today!

I created a book that I will fill with all my inspirations, everything I want to write about, all the stuff that is influencing me, so that whenever I'm looking for something to write about I'll just open my book and there will hopefully be some good topic in there.

Now on to my favourite Make up products for this winter!
I'll be splitting it in categories and I'll just show you my highlight product for the category.
#1 Nails:
Essence Home Sweet Home TE Gel Shine Nail Polish (02 red-y to relax)
I bought this nail polish because I'm always looking for cheap polishes that have a good shine and don't chip too easily. Essence definitely did a great job with this polish! It's extremly shiny and doesn't wear off too fast. It's not a pure red though. It has a distinct hint of orange which makes it look very fresh. I love the colour and I've been wearing for like three weeks in a row.

#2 Eyes:
Catrice Lashes to kill false lash fibres volume mascara
I got this during a promo sale at Müller. They are selling the 1+1 free with the Lashes to kill (either waterproof or ultra black). I really am no fan of mascara that feature fibres as they tend to look cheap and gross but! this one is really good. It enhances the volume of my lashes extremely, it's a beautiful intense black and lasts all day. The fibres are not really visible when applied but you can really make out the difference. I will use this one for ma more dramatic looks and stick with the original waterproof lashes to kill mascara for my daily work make up.

#3 Lips:
Essence Hugs&Kisses TE lip tint (01 Sugar Baby Love)
I'm in love with lip tints! I bought one from Catrice about a month ago and if I hadn't bought this one yesterday the catrice one would be in it's place. You can layer them, put a gloss on top or even use them as a blush. I like this one for it's bright pink colour. When you apply just a thin coat it gives that lovely fresh pink of a young girls lips and if you layer it it turns to a reaaaaally bright pink. I haven't really been a big fan of pink lips until last summer when I bought the matte lipstick fom IQ in star which is also a bright pink. I love how they work so well with my black hair and pale complexion.

#4 Body:
LOOK by Bipa Nailcare Oil
I started using this already years ago when my nailbeds were really dry and hurt all the time. I love using it during the winter, when the air is dry and my hands tend to dry out. Now that I have gel nails I'm using it regularly to make my nailbeds soft and just for random nailcare. This is my favourite for this season because I used it on my moms hands about a week ago because her nailbeds were in a really, really bad condition. I polished her nails and massaged a bit of the oil into her fingertips and you wouldn't believe how beautiful and young her hands immediately looked. She is now using it regularly and her nailbeds are getting better and better and I guess this will also have a great influence on her nails. (You might think that this would have belonged into the naisl category but as it is more about the skin than the nails themselves I decided to put it into the body category)

#5 Hair:
The Bodyshop Rainforest Radiance Hairbutter
I got this just a few days ago but after using it for the first time I already feel a real difference in my hair and you can see a subtle new shine. I will continue to use it and report to you whether the positive effect it is having on my hair will stay.

So this is it for today! I hope that I'll be able to post again this weekend otherwise I'll see you all next week!

Love, M.

Another Sunday

Hi sweeties <3

Long time no post again. I'm really sorry to keep you all waiting so long.

On friday my younger sister had her prom and we were really busy getting everything ready. Last minute we decided to get fake fur stoles which I sew myself and to wear finger waves instead of the braided hairstyles we had initially planned. I had to work on friday and when I finally came home I had to do her hair and my hair too und tidy up a bit as we made one hell of a mess out of our bath as we were getting ready. My best friend Christini (I know she's gonna hit me hard for writing this <3) came over to my place around half past six and we had a bit of a drink before going to the ball.
She looked so gorgeous!

We've been drinking and having fun together with my sister and one of our friends. My stepuncle and his fiancee also came and even my sister's elementary school teacher and her husband attended the ball!

All of the students from my sister's year had prepared a little dance show for the opening which was simply said amazing to watch. At least that's what I though until I saw the show they did when it turned midnight! Well not everyone did their choreography perfectly well but they all had fun and everyone was really delighted.

Me and my best friend went home around half past two as were getting old and need some sleep to look good xD
So in the morning I got up really early and fixed my sisters hair again so we could take some proper pics of her ballgown and stuff and here are the results!

Well and as we were outside anyways we also took some pics of me :D

Well that's it so far! I decided to get back on tumblr again so maybe you'll want to check that out too! banana-lolita.tumblr.com

Hoe to see you soon!

Update & search for workout partners

Hi sweeties <3

Christmas and the new year have come and gone and it was an amazing and overwhelming time for me! I got the most amazing presents and spent the time with my best friends.

My boyfriend got me the mint swatch I've been craving for for more than a year and my sister got me assassins creed II which I was allowed to play before christmas already <3 It's so awesome!
Oh and of course I got a lot of money so I'm going to buy some new stuff. Mainly stuff I need anyways and a new Lolita dress from Infanta. I've been thinking about getting a derss from Innocent World but somehow I couldn't get myself into spending all my christmas money on the Elisabeth Rose Dress. (I'm so in love with this dress <3)

Now on to the next point!
Even though I'm pretty lean I want to loose my last bit of belly fat and get back to my old body from back when I was still working out regularly.
My biggest problem is that I just can't motivate myself enough to do my workout every day so I'm looking for someone (another blogger would be nice) or also a group of people that would want to start a workout program with me. Also including a more healthy diet (ermagherd I definitely need to cut out a bit of the sugar in my diet) and writing about the progress on a regular basis (which should get me into blogging more often too :D)

Ipersonally am not trying to loose weight I just want to reduce my little bit of fat and build up my muscles but I would welcome anyone who's trying to loose weight!

If you are in any way (blog, facebook, tumblr, youtube, twitter) intersted in joining in with me please let me know in the comments!

Hope to talk to you soon again!

Love, M.
